Requirements

Applicants for the Master's course University Didactics for Health Professions Education must meet one of the following entry requirements:

  • relevant university of applied sciences bachelor's degree or
  • completion of another relevant degree at at least the same higher education level at a recognized domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution or
  • a degree defined in the curriculum of the university course with at least 180 ECTS

and several years of relevant professional experience.

The qualification level of the applicants is checked by the course director. Proof of any outstanding exams must be provided at the latest at the admissions interview before the committee or can be regulated individually by the course director in individual cases. Admission to the course may be subject to conditions (supplementary work or supplementary exams). The lessons are primarily held in German. Proof of knowledge of the German language may be required by the course director.

Recognition of proven prior knowledge

The course-related recognition of prior knowledge that concerns formal qualifications that go beyond the entry requirements (especially due to studies or semesters of study in Germany or abroad) is generally possible. The course director decides whether special knowledge or experience is to be credited for a specific course or internship. As a rule, proof of creditable knowledge is not older than five years. Students can submit an application for recognition of prior knowledge to the course director at the beginning of each semester. Proof of outstanding exams must be submitted at the latest at the admissions interview.
