Care in the Operating Area is a complex specialisation in healthcare and nursing, which deals with the demanding health requirements of acutely- or critically-ill people of all ages. The OP nurse (male or female) is indispensable in the implementation of evidence-based care and constitutes a core member in the OP field.
The higher education course equates to the specialised training of OP care in accordance with the Healthcare and Nursing Law.
