Paediatric Intensive Care is a complex specialisation in healthcare and nursing, which deals with the demanding health requirements of acutely- or critically-ill people of children an adolescent. The Paediatric Intensive Care (male or female) nurse is indispensable in the implementation of evidence-based care and represents a core member of the multi-professional team in the field of Paediatric Intensive Care.
