In addition, the University of Applied Sciences offers electronic journals and licenced databases for academic studies, teaching lessions and research.

Access to library, electronic journals and databases is only possible and allowed for students and employes of the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria.

Copyright has to be considered! It is not permitted to pass access information or downloaded electronic text to a third party. Downloading is only permittet for personal purpose or the purpose of academic studies, teaching lessions and research. Most publishing companies regulate access to their publications using the IP address of the computer submitting the request. Therefore it is only possible to access the complete electronic text while using a computer situated in on one of the campuses of the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria.

Health and hygiene measures (COVID-19) SS 2021

In compliance with the applicable safety and hygiene measures, we would like to enable our users to borrow library resources again. With immediate effect until further notice, the regular lending and return operations at the campus libraries of the University of Applied Sciences Health Professions Upper Austria will be resumed under the following framework conditions:

• The general health and hygiene measures are to apply.
• Wearing gloves when viewing media and handling books (staff and students) as part of the loan and return process is recommended in line with the requirements of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF). Attention: It is important to ensure that the gloves are used correctly. According to hygiene experts, hygienic hand disinfection is also possible before and after handling the media. Both variants can be selected.
• If borrowed books are taken back, they must be disinfected by the library staff using the means provided for this purpose.
• Please note the specific provisions and regulations at the respective campus libraries!
