Advanced Health Professional: Master
Overview of the Advanced Health Professional Master's programme
The interprofessional Master's programme Advanced Health Professional prepares experienced healthcare professionals to achieve a higher degree of autonomy and to take on responsibility for complex decision-making within their professional regulations. Healthcare professionals are empowered to manage the care of individuals, families, caregivers and also teams, analyse complex problems and manage clinical risks in multiple contexts. The scientifically grounded qualification enables them to ensure and develop patient care in a multidisciplinary team. Based on clinical leadership, expertise and evidence, Advanced Health Professionals at the Master's level are able to actively develop practice through specialist and case management.
In healthcare and nursing, the interprofessional Master's programme corresponds to the role of Advanced Nursing Practice.

| Requirements: | Completed bachelor's degree with training in a health profession (e.g. health and nursing, biomedical analysis, dietetics, occupational therapy, midwifery, speech therapy, physiotherapy, radiology technology) or completion of another relevant degree programme at least at the same level of higher education, proof of entry in the health professions register or midwifery register, and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience (correspondingly longer for part-time employment). |
